Maryland Rule 17-104 · Compliance Segments

Required screening, safety, and dynamics content is recorded explicitly.

To meet the topics a qualifying basic mediation training must cover for court and community-mediation registration, three dedicated segments are built into the basic-course guides and the on-screen modules, and each is mirrored in the module quiz bank so it is examinable. The supplement below isolates these segments as print-ready pages you can add to the recording guides.

How the guides work

Built to record straight through.

  1. Each unit opens with a Unit Header welcome video, then three module lectures — twelve modules across the course.
  2. Every deck follows a five-slide rhythm; the lecture video is recorded beside slide five after the talking points are delivered.
  3. Speaking points are delivery prompts, not a word-for-word script, so faculty present naturally while preserving facilitative-mediation principles.
  4. Each module closes on a student checkpoint, and the module quiz unlocks once the lecture video is marked reviewed in the portal.
